Stuffed Asian Tofu

Here is a refreshing Malaysian salad dish with homemade garlic chilli sauce.

 

Ingredients

Pre fried Tofu (get Malay fried tofu from the Asian grocery store)

Shredded cucumber, carrots and bean sprouts

Fresh chillies

Garlic

vinegar

sugar

salt

 

Method

Tofu

  1. Slice Tofu diagonally in half
  2. Grill on Hot air steam 230c for 10 minutes, let cool
  3. Scoop out Tofu insides (use as filling for omelette)
  4. Fill Tofu with the shredded veggies

Chilli

  1. Blend cut chillies, garlic and a little vinegar, salt and a tablespoon of sugar

Drizzle chilli sauce onto the stuffed tofu and savour a delicious, authentic South East Asian dish
