Stained glass sugar candy

Aka Praline. The prettiest topping for your desserts! No need for candy thermometer. So easy..

Ingredients
1 cup castor sugar
1/4 cup water
Toasted nuts*/coffee beans/shredded coconut/dried fruits

Method
1. Bring to boil, sugar and water
2. Simmer WITHOUT stirring for 10 mins (until liquid turns light brown)
3. Pour liquid into a baking tray sprinkled with the toasted nut etc.
4. Let cool

*Toast pistachios or sliced almonds on medium heat in a frying pan.

Plating is everything. So take time to decorate your master pieces..
