Spiced Tandoori Lamb meat ball dinner

Talk about ease and versatility of minced meats grilled in the combisteamer !  Here is an easy, spiced Tandoori lamb meat ball recipe.

Ingredients

Meat ball :

500g lamb mince

3 tbsps tandoori paste (any brand but special mention, Sharwood from Coles)

3 tbsps almond meal (or panko crumbs/bread crumbs/oatmeal)

1/4 bunch coriander  (stalks & roots finely chopped, leaves whole)

Bamboo Skewers

Optional :

2 tbsps Onion jam

1 tbsp finely grated ginger

1 clove crushed garlic

Dipping sauce

1 cup greek yogurt

1  Lebanese cucumber, grated

10 fresh mint leaves

salt & pepper

 

Optional side dish

Dice tomatoes & red onions, fresh herbs (coriander/parsley/mint) and mix with olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar.

Papadum crackers

 

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 10 mins
  2. Portion using an ice cream scoop, and shape into oval (rugby ;)) ball around the skewer
  3. Place skewers onto lined baking tray
  4. Preheat combisteamer on Hot air steam 230c ( or convection, 100% steam)
  5. Grill for 10 mins
