Silky Smooth Vanilla Custard

Here’s an effortless dessert to serve at a cocktail or dinner. Luscious, divine and creamy indulgence..


10 egg yolks

100g sugar

500ml milk

500ml whipping cream

2 tbsp vanilla paste

2 tsp vanilla essence


  1. Mix sugar and egg yolks well
  2. Add milk, cream, vanilla paste & essence. Mix gently with a spatula without creating too much bubbles
  3. Sieve into a jug and portion into small glasses
  4. Steam at 90c for about 20 mins
