Five minutes in the combi steam oven is all you need! Sweet, succulent mussels are so easy and versatile to cook. Grilled or steamed. Sauce wise, again, there are plenty to choose from. Here are some options, complete with pictures for inspiration.
Whichever you choose, remember it takes only 5 minutes to cook. If they are used as topping to a dish such as baked paella, add them on top of almost cooked rice during the last 5 minutes. Otherwise, here’s how you can cook them in the combi steamer.
Place tray or casserole dish in a preheated oven on Hot air steam, 150c for 5 – 5.5 minutes.
Equivalent : Convection, preheated, 150c, medium to full steam, 5.5 minutes
- Place 1 kg cleaned mussels in a tray or casserole dish
- Top with onion and 1/2 cup white wine
- Serve with chopped parsley
