Mediterranean Risotto

Risotto in the combisteam is easy. No fear of burning, over stirring, over cooking, too little/too much liquid.
Here’s your basic guide which can easily adapt to make your very own, resulting in a perfect consistency with al dente texture.

Basic risotto
1 : 1 : 1
Arborio rice : Stock : stock/white wine

Method
1. Saute/brown (on high heat, quickly) ingredients for flavour (garlic, onions, mushroom, pumpkin, chicken.. etc)
2. Add to casserole dish of rice & stock
3. Steam for 30 mins
4. Mix 2 tablespoons butter & 1/4 cup parmesan to cooked rice (add extra for a richer and creamier finish)
5. Salt & pepper, always a good idea

Experiment and add veggies or meat of your choice. Serve with some fresh chopped herbs and a piece of parmesan crisp or garlic toast.
